Choosing a hot key and turning on application switching in the CopyPaste preferences allows you to switch between open programs. Hold down the hot key and select a program from the list with mouse or arrow keys. Repeating the hot key cycles through the programs.
• Type "Q" to quit a program via Apple Events.
• Typing "I" in the Application Switcher shows process information.
• Typing "H" hides the frontmost program.
• Typing "A" (=show All) shows background processes along with the other programs.
• You can quit background processes and even the Finder to free memory by typing "Q"
If you configure the hot key in the preferences in order to use the control key, then typing "I" does not work anymore because the System interprets ctrl + I as the tab key which only lets you cycle forward.
